About Annajean!

Annajean Gionta is a Boston and Philadelphia based creative of many capacities; she is an actor, singer, playwright, and comedian. She is currently acting at CAMP Burlington, in the Bluey X CAMP Immersive Experience. Recent graduate from Emerson College's BFA Acting studio. While at Emerson, in addition to acting, Annajean honed in on her writing skills as a sketch comedy writer/actor for The Girlie Project, Emerson's only female centered comedy troupe. She has also trained at Shakespeare & Company’s Summer Intensive in Lenox, MA, performing selections from Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) and Measure for Measure (Isabella). Regional credits: The Suppliant Women with Apollinaire Theatre Company and Heat of the Summer at Boston Playwrights' Theatre. Emerson Stage credits: Bonnets: How Ladies of Good Breeding are Induced to Murder (Mrs. Wolcott), RAGE (Ensemble, female swing), and This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing (Female swing).
